Announcement of the selection of contractors for the new Frontex headquarters in Warsaw
Eiffage has been selected by Frontex for the design and construction of their new European headquarters in Warsaw. SUD Architekt Polska is accompanying Eiffage on this project as the lead architects. This is the culmination of many months of hard work with Eiffage and our designer partners from Arup, RSAK, PROTECT, ETC and Jaspers-Eyers Architects. It is an honor for us to be able to participate in this important project for the European Union. We thank Frontex and Eiffage for their trust.
SUD Poland – Change in continuity!
Our company, founded in 1997 in Poland, had been part of the ARCHING engineering holding group since 2016, when it became the majority shareholder. As of June 2025, this collaboration has come to an end, and shareholders Jocelyn Fillard and Nicolas Roques have taken back majority ownership of the company. The company’s historic founder, Jean-Marc Pivôt, remains a minority but active shareholder, continuing in his role as Chairman.

We are happy to announce that on behalf of the investor Ceetrus, we have just obtained the building permit for Góraszka project, a new mixed-use development located in the eastern part of the Warsaw metropolitan area. The former airport in Góraszka is becoming home to a site providing convenient shopping, a wealth of leisure activities and family-friendly entertainment. This is an ambitious large scale mixed-use development, combining entertainment and a diverse choice of retail, gastronomy, services, and spaces for the local community. True to our commitment to environmentally friendly projects, building materials will be manufactured in the region, including natural wood and stone, the facilities will exhibit low energy consumption, mostly from sustainable sources, including photovoltaic panels, the rainwater will be kept and utilised within the site and the biodiversity will be encouraged by green roofs with extensive greenery. We warmly thank our Client Ceetrus, the investor of the Góraszka project, and Nhood Services Poland responsible for project management, for their trust and the exceptional working relationship on this investment.
CAVALLIA Phase 1 - Construction Site
The construction of Phase 1 of our Cavallia project in Poznań continues to progress. All four buildings in this initial phase are already enclosed and covered, and the façade finishing work is advancing rapidly. We are already beginning to see the shape of the streets and blocks of the new residential neighborhood, complete with ground-floor retail spaces. The façade materials alternate between brick and render to create architectural sequences that break up the monumentality and monotony, maintaining an urban and human scale. The choice of warm and calming colors aims to create a smooth transition between the existing buildings and our new neighborhood. The final stretch begins with interior finishing work already underway and upcoming exterior spaces, with an opening planned for this year.

CAVALLIA project: Hybrid design of one of the office buildings
Thinking about a sustainable city also means considering the adaptability of buildings for future uses. As part of our Cavallia project in Poznan, we obtained a building permit for an office building, but we designed it so that in the future it can easily be converted into residential units or a hotel. This hybrid approach, starting from the design phase of the projects, ensures a much longer lifespan for the buildings, thus preventing their future demolition for the implementation of a new program. This allows to avoid generating additional construction waste in the future.
New rest zones at the Janki Shopping Centre in Warsaw
We are pleased to have supported Apsys and Cromwell Property Group in improving customer comfort at the Janki Shopping Center in Warsaw. The main idea was to optimize seating capacity and offer a soft design in natural tones, along with the addition of new green spaces. These unique, custom-designed areas are equipped with charging stations, are fully movable to meet the flexible needs of commercial spaces, and fully modular to facilitate the maintenance of elements. For this project we collaborated with Marro, a company with which we have previously created many custom furniture pieces.
CAVALLIA – New building permit obtained!
We are pleased to announce the obtention of the building permit for the office program of our Cavallia project in Poznań. Based on the principles of the multifunctional 15-minute city, the project will develop a modern and eco-friendly district in the city center. It involves the revitalization of the former stables of the Polish Army that will be transformed while respecting their historical substance to accommodate new functions of commerce, services, and catering. The environmental ambition and the quality of the project are possible only by the trust and commitment of our clients BPI and REVIVE.
CAVALLIA Phase 1: a construction milestone!
On May 29th, we were invited by CFE to celebrate a significant milestone in the construction of the 1st phase of our CAVALLIA project in Poznań - the completion of the structure of the first building B6 and the highest point of the construction in Phase 1. The structures of buildings B10 and B11 are also advancing rapidly and are almost finished. The streets of the future neighborhood are visibly taking shape, fitting perfectly into the existing urban fabric while respecting the heritage of the site. We thank CFE for their invitation to celebrate this decisive stage in the construction of the project.
The revitalisation of Łódź – Article by Błażej Moder
The story of SUD Polska since the early 2000s is intertwined with that of Łódź. We are proud to have contributed to the revitalization of a portion of its extraordinary urban and architectural heritage, as well as to work on improving the city's infrastructure through our involvement in the new CPK and PKP projects. Our work on the urban and architectural revitalization of the city center as part of the Deloitte team was one of the most exciting chapters in this shared history with Manufaktura. Urban development project for Champions Park
Champions Developments has entrusted SUD Polska with the realization of the urban planning for the Champions Park project following an international competition. It is an honor for us to work on the development of a new ecological city that will emerge around the Legia Training Center. The guiding idea is the creation of a multifunctional and multigenerational neighborhood, a 15-minute city centered around sports and a healthy lifestyle. Champions Park is a pioneering project with the ambition to create a new, environmentally-friendly development models where city and nature are seamlessly integrated.

The CPK tunnel in Łódź has received a building permit!
We are proud to announce the obtaining of yet another building permit for the long-distance High-Speed Rail tunnel in Łódź! It has been issued for one of the phases of the huge CPK communication investment that consortium of Metroprojekt and SUD Polska is designing. The subject of the permit is a section of the tunnel between the launching chamber near Maratońska Street and the receiving chamber located in the area of Sienkiewicza Street. The section, approximately 4,2 km long, will be mined using a mechanical TBM shield.

The construction of the first phase of our Cavallia Poznań project is progressing rapidly. Started this summer by the construction company CFE, the underground structure of the first residential building is complete, and work on the ground level is underway. In the first construction phase a total of 269 apartments will be created, with a combined area of 34 700 m2, including parking spaces on level -1 to prioritize pedestrians and nature. We extend our gratitude to BPI Real Estate Poland and Revive Poland for their trust and for their urban and architectural ambition dedicated to this project.

Galeria Katowicka celebrates its birthday!
Today’s date marks 10 years since the opening of Galeria Katowicka, following the inauguration of the new Katowice train station a few months earlier. This project has enabled the revitalization of a part of the city center, enhancing inclusivity by returning public spaces to pedestrians and improving access to platforms. The iconic architecture of the shopping center on 3-ego Maja Street has brought a touch of modernity while preserving the brutalist soul of the original station’s architecture. We’re proud to have designed this project and wish Galeria Katowicka a happy anniversary!
Property Forum 2023

Infinity Project in Krakow
First phase of our project “Infinity” obtained a valid building permit. The project focuses on revitalizing a commercial area on Wadowicka street in Cracow that will be transformed into a dynamic, mixed-use district within a metropolitan setting. As the concept was developed during the COVID-19 pandemic, we aimed to devise innovative ideas for creating a post-pandemic model. We express our gratitude to TriGranit and Revetas Capital for their confidence in this project and for constantly pushing us to enhance its ESG standards and sustainability
The metamorphosis of the Promenada Shopping Centre
The 30th of March was an important moment for us. We finalized the revitalisation of Promenada shopping mall in Warsaw, for which we started our first sketches in 2014. The goal of our project was to improve the retail visibility and functionality, while also creating a new character. Thanks to the trust of our client we managed to bring our brave ideas to life. This transformation allows the building to be more accessible, but also more ecological by replacing the old lighting and technical installations. We would like to thank Atrium, our partners & the fantastic SUD Polska team for the great collaboration.
CH Promenada refurbishment
Only 6 days before the grand opening! On Thursday, 30th of March, the new revitalized phase of Promenada in Warsaw will be opened. This is a very important milestone for us as after 9 years of hard work and 4 stages of construction the entirety of the shopping mall will be finally presenting its new glamour character. Exciting news! SUD Polska has received the first building permit for the CAVALLIA project in Poznań's Łazarz district. The project is a joint investment by BPI Real Estate Poland and Revive Poland and will include three residential buildings with 269 eco-friendly apartments and local services. The development will prioritize sustainable solutions such as heat pumps, photovoltaic panels, and rainwater usage. The site's ecosystem will be enhanced through the preservation of existing trees, the planting of new ones, and the use of natural building materials.
Two boring machines have reached key points of the Łódź Railway Junction
Fantastic progress at ŁWK (Łódzki Węzeł Kolejowy), on January 25, shortly before 1p.m. TBM (Tunnel Boring Machine) “Faustyna” reached the eastern part of the Łódź Koziny Station. In the meantime, TBM “Katarzyna” is passing through the Łódź Polesie Station. The machine will now face the most difficult stage, which will be boring a tunnel under the city centre. Congratulation for all the teams involved!
We are designing the first section of the HSR in Poland
We are pound to announce that CPK has chosen the consortium led by Biuro Projektów Metroprojekt & SUD Polska to design the first high-speed rail line in Poland, connecting Warsaw to Łódź. The travel time will be reduced to 45 minutes from 90. The railway section will be a part of line 85, and trains will operate at the speed of up to 250 km/h in the first stage, with a target of 350 km/h.
Nhood Polska has concluded the competition for the architectural design of a multifunctional development in Góraszka

On 22nd of February a new phase of Promenada shopping centre refurbishment in Warsaw started. Retail projects were always a passion for our team and it is a great pleasure to continue the Promenada adventure with Atrium, finishing the full refurbishment of 13 500 m2 GLA and 4 800 m2 of mall with this new phase. This "Grand Magasin" stylish transformation will allow to bring a totally new quality to the visitors' experience but also to turn Promenada into a more sustainable building with fresh new installations and lighting system consuming less energy and reducing the carbon footprint of the building.
Kraków urban planning and development workshops in Lyon
Since 1996, Sud Architekt Polska is building strong relations, exchanging ideas & sharing experiences between Poland and France. Fantastic result at the 7th edition of the competition for the Architectural Award of the Mayor of the Capital City of Warsaw - SUD won a prestigious Audience's Award for a Foksal 13/15 project, developed in collaboration with PROART for Ghelamco Poland. Two historic tenement houses regained their former glory and won the hearts of Warsaw voters.
Sud Polska wins the competition for the design of an eco-district
Sud Architekt Polska is happy and proud to announce becoming a winner of the international architecture and urbanism competition organized by the consortium Revive/BPI Real Estate Poland for a design of a new district in Poznań between Grunwaldzka, Grottgera, Matejki and Ułańska streets. The former military area is eventually to be transformed into a multifunctional space with modern buildings created and historic buildings revitalized.
Manufaktura interior refurbishment
We were glad to be invited by APSYS and Union Investment to prepare a refurbishment of Manufaktura shopping mall interior design. After 14 years of operation, the center needed to be refreshed and the design to be upgraded to the nowadays standards and customers needs. As the project from its opening was a great success with a unique identity, our main goal was to create a natural evolution of the interiors without loosing Manufaktura's DNA. Our main inspiration is the city of Łódź and its culture of textiles, cinema, fashion and modern art.
The residence Foksal 13/15 is a historical and prestigious residential project developed in cooperation between ProArt Studio (responsible for the conservation and revitalisation project) and SUD Polska (responsible for the modernization and extension of the building together with multibranch design of the entire building) for Ghelamco Poland that has just obtained a building permit. The House – where modernity meets nature
The construction of The House, a luxury villa built in Warsaw for a private client, has been completed. Situated on a long, narrow plot, the project managed to create areas with plenty of natural light by playing with the spaces in the main volume of the building. The project is a synthesis of local architectural morphology and a modern design approach.
Sud Architekt Polska wins the "Perły Łodzi" award
Sud Architekt Polska is proud to announce a victory in the 2019 edition of “Perły Łodzi” for the project “Tuwima 46” in Łódź, Poland. This symbolic prize, which reflects the popular vote, aims to show to the residents and visitors alike that the city of Łódź is becoming more beautiful every year. The project “Tuwima 46” is a part of a larger revitalization program organized by the city of Łódź and developed by Deloitte and Sud Architekt Polska.
On 3.04.2020, the President of the Capital City of Warsaw put three new underground stations in Wola into service to the public. Works on the executive design of the Młynów and Płock stations were carried out by the Sud Polska studio.
Construction of the cross-city tunnel in Łódź has begun
PKP Polskie Linie Kolejowe S.A. began construction of the cross-city tunnel in Łódź. The project of Sud Architekt Polska is a continuation of the works started with the construction of the Łódź Fabryczna station. The investment will ensure faster connection through the city center and will also contribute to the creation of an effective system of national interregional connections covering the region of central Poland. Forum Gdańsk received a Commendation in the ICSC European Shopping Centre Awards 2019
Forum Gdańsk have been recognized as one of the most prestigious in the field of European retail property as an only project from Poland. Each year since 1977, International Council of Shopping Centers has presented awards for the most outstanding new refurbished and established shopping centres in Europe.

Forum Gdańsk and Atrium Promenada received prizes at the CEE Retail Forum, organized annually by EuropaProperty. CEE Retail Awards 2019 Gala took place on January 24 this year, and Sud Polska studio was recognized in three categories: "Innovation of the Year - Shopping Center", "Retail Project" and "Retail Extension / Refurbishment Project".
Architecture of Promenada inspires entertainment, leisure and shopping
The first phase of Atrium Promenada modernization was completed. Promenada gained a new food court zone and Fountain Alley. In the following years, the center will change, thanks to our team of architects at Sud, among others. Promenada was designed as response to the customers’ needs looking for destination for shopping as well as for entertainment and leisure.
Jocelyn Fillard, Sud Polska's Architecture Director, comments in “Puls Biznesu” about the retail trends in design. According to Jocelyn Fillard, food courts and entertainment areas in shopping centers should be designed so that customers have access to them without having to go through a retail space that is closed on Sundays. Jocelyn Fillard emphasizes the fact that 90% of Sud Polska projects are focused on mix-use buildings.
Galeria Katowicka recorded a record number of visitors
Over 84 000 people visited the Galeria Katowicka shopping mall on Friday, November 23th. Galeria Katowicka reached a new score number of visits. In Sud Architekt, we are glad that our designs are becoming popular places for public and cultural life.

Europejski won the second place among the most important projects opened in 2018 in Warsaw in the ranking by portal Naszemiasto.pl. Revitalization was designed by Sud Architekt Polska. Opened in June 2018, Europejski became a well-known meeting place for Warsaw residents again.

Construction works of the second phase of Bulwary Książęce just started
BPI Real Estate Poland started construction works on the second phase of Bulwary Książęce in Wrocław. The project designed by Sud Architekt Polska represent the trend of minicities inside the city district with a vast range of services.
Hotel Europejski among the 100 World’s Gratest Places by “Time”
Reopened in June Raffles Europejski Warsaw is list on the World’s Greatest Places 2018 by American magazine “Time”. Sud Architekt Polska was responsible for the revitalization project. Thanks to revitalization Europejski regained its former splendor to become a well-known meeting point for Warsaw residents again – Jocelyn Fillard, Architecture Director and Partner at Sud Architekt Polska.
The Europejski has been continuously functioning in the urban fabric of Warsaw for more than 160 years, making its mark on the city’s inhabitants. After less than four years of reconstruction and ten years of design work, thanks to the work of architects from the renowned Sud Architekt Polska studio, the building has regained its former splendour and elegance.
